82 Section 3C: Changing Sprint Connection Manager Settings (Windows)
Test GPS Verify that your card is able to obtain data for Sprint Location
Services:
1. Ensure that Network Mode (from the Sprint Mobile
Broadband “Settings” window; page 77) is set to
Automatic or 1X Only. (Sprint Location Services may not be
available if Network Mode is set to 1xEV-DO Only.)
2. Ensure you are in the network coverage area (not
roaming).
3. Click Test GPS.
The results (including the number of satellites, latitude,
longitude, and elevation information) are displayed to the
right of the Test GPS button.
