You can associate one of 13 different ringers (4 melodies and
9 tones) to numbers stored in your Phone Book. When you
receive an incoming call from a number matching an entry in
your Phone Book, your phone will sound the associated
ringer to announce the call.
Note: If the Caller ID information was not available for an
incoming call then the Name Ringer option will not be
available.
To add a Name Ringer to a Phone Book entry:
1. Press to display the main menu.
2. Press for Phone Book.
3. Find the number you want to add a Name Ringer to using
one of the search methods described under “Viewing
Stored Entries” on page 63, and then press .
4. Press to display options.
5. Press to add a Name Ringer.
6. Your phone will begin to play the ringer if set for the
number. If a Name Ringer is not set, then “Off” displays.
Use the navigation keys to listen to the ringers (you have
9 tones and 4 melodies to select from). When the desired
ringer sounds, press to save your selection.
