5. Press the scroll keys to scan the available options (BELL,
LAMP, VIBRATE, and VIB+BELL).
6. When the desired ring type sounds, press to save
the setting. If you chose VIBRATE or VIB+BELL, the
phone vibrates and returns to Standby mode. Otherwise
it just returns to Standby mode.

This option enables you to set a unique ring type for
incoming data and fax calls.
To set the ring type for data and fax calls:
1. Press to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for Sounds.
3. Press for Data/Fax Alert. The current setting
sounds.
4. Press the scroll keys to scan nine ring types and four
melody tones. Each tone sounds as you scan the options.
5. When the desired ring type sounds, press to save
the setting.

The volume of your ring will be the same whether you
receive a voice, message, or data/fax call. There are nine
volume levels for the ringer including off. You can set the ring
volume from Standby mode or in the Main Menu.
