You can create and display a 12-character personal greeting
that displays in Standby mode and when you turn on the
phone.
To create a personal greeting:
1. Press to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for Display.
3. Press for Greeting. The current greeting is
displayed.
Note: The text entry on your greeting screen defaults to T9 as
shown in the lower right of the display. Press to view
your text input modes. Select one of the other three options
(Alpha, Symbol, or Number) or leave it in T9 input mode. For
a description of T9, see “T9® Text Input” on page 101.
4. Enter your personal greeting by pressing the
alphanumeric keys on the keypad.
5. Press to save the setting.

Your phone displays graphics images when it is turned on or
off. This setting is just for fun and grins so have fun with it.
You have a few graphics to select from for these power on
and off images. Here’s how to do it:
1. Press to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for Display.
3. Press for Animation.
4. Press for the power on image or for the
power off image.
