When you want to receive a data or fax call, you must set the
phone to do this. When you are done with your data or fax
call, you must change this setting back to voice to receive
voice calls again. It’s easy. Here’s how to do it:
1. Press to display the Main Menu.
2. Press for Setup.
3. Press for Data / Fax.
4. Press the scroll keys to select Incoming Data Only,
Incoming Fax Only, or Off: Voice Call Only.
5. When the desired option displays, press to save the
setting. If you have chosen to receive fax or data, then
the phone will first display “No incoming voice calls can
be received”, and then return to Standby mode with the
words “Data Only” or “Fax Only” displayed under the
banner.
