The emergency number
Entering an emergency number - SOS
The emergency number allows you to dial a number automatically by pressing only
one key on the handset, the key.
You need to enter your emergency number before you can use the key. This
number can be changed later if required.
Press R to enter menu mode.
Press - until you reach
SOS.
Press o.
If there is no emergency number stored, the display will show
NUMBER?
, and
you can enter the new number directly as described below.
If an emergency number is already stored, the display will show this number.
You have to delete this number using
-
before you can enter a new one.
Enter the number using the handset keypad (max. 23 digits).
If you want your Xalio Vox to pause while dialling the number (for example,
after an international dialling code prefix), press the key to insert a
pause. A dash will appear between the digits on the display to show where
the pause will be inserted.
Press
o to store the new emergency number.
The handset will beep to confirm that the emergency number has been
saved.
P
ress R to leave menu mode.
Calling the emergency number
To call an emergency number simply press and the emergency number will
be dialled automatically.
Note:
1.
The key only works if your handset is charged and your base station is
correctly plugged in.
2.
If you have not entered an emergency number, pressing will be ineffective
as there is no pre-programmed number.
