Setting the day and time
You need to enter the day and time so that your answering machine can time stamp
the messages you receive. When you enter answering machine mode or when
you listen to your messages, the time stamp is given by a voice prompt.
In the event of a power failure, this operation must be repeated.
Default setting: MON 00:00.
Press
R to enter menu mode.
Press - until you reach
“
ANSW
SETUP
”.
Press o.
The day of the week is displayed.
Press
- or + to scroll through the days of the week.
MON

TUE

WED
,
THU
,
FRI
,
SAT
,
SUN
.
Press o to confirm the day of the week.
The “hour” option is now displayed.
Use - or + to select the hour.
Press
o to confirm the hour setting.
The “minutes” option is displayed.
Use the - or + key to select the minutes.
Press
o to confirm the minutes setting.
Press R to exit menu mode.
Note:
When you switch the unit on again after a power failure, the default day and time
are:
MON 00:00
. After a power failure, the light on the base station flashes
quickly to indicate that the time setting has been erased.
