Problem
You cannot register the handset
number.
" " flashes or beeps tones
sound every 15 seconds.
You charged the battery fully,
but " " flashes.
The charge indicator ( )
light never goes out while
charging.
The unit does not work during a
power failure.
Remedy
• 6 handsets are already registered in the
base unit.
• 4 base units are already registered in the
handset.
• A wrong base unit password was entered.
Enter the correct password.
• There is interference from other electrical
units. Set the handset and base unit
away from them.
• You must register the handset number
within 1 minute or programming will be
cancelled.
• Charge the battery fully (p. 14).
• Clean the charge contacts and charge
again (p. 15).
• Install a new battery (p. 70, 77).
• This is normal.
• This unit will not work during a power
failure. We recommend you connect a
standard telephone and use it during a
power failure.
