Problem
The paged handset does not
answer.
You cannot program items,
such as the dialling mode.
While using the intercom
between handsets,
a call waiting tone sounds.
(Redial/Pause) does not
function properly.
The unit misdials when
connected to a PBX.
Remedy
• The paged handset is not in the same
radio area.
• The paged handset is engaged in an
outside call.
• The handset number has been cancelled
or the handset has not been registered.
Register the handset in the base unit
(p. 48, 66).
• Programming is not available while the
unit is in the talk or intercom mode.
• A call has been received. To answer the
call, first end the intercom, then press
(Talk).
• The button has a double function as
either redial or pause. It will redial the last
number dialled if pressed at the outset of
a call (p. 21, 22).
If another number has been dialled first, it
will operate as a pause button (p. 29).
• Check the pause function (p. 29).
