Chapter 3 Advanced Operations
On the base unit
You can program the password according to your needs. The factory preset is
0000. Changing the password may prevent the unauthorized use of your unit by
another person.
You need to enter this password when using the following features.
Setting the Dialling Mode (p. 17)
Setting the Pause Timing (p. 29)
Setting the FLASH/EARTH Mode (p. 31)
Setting the Call Restriction (p. 38)
Clearing the Settings of the Base
Unit Memory (p. 46)
Registering a Handset in the Base
Unit (p. 48)
Once you have programmed the password, you cannot confirm it.
We recommend you write down the password. If you forget it, please consult
with your nearest Panasonic Service Center.

Press (Program), then (Intercom).
" " and " " are displayed.

Enter the current base unit password.

Enter the new password using a 4 digit number
twice.
If you misdial, press (Cancel) and enter
the number twice again.
A confirmation tone sounds.

password is stored.
