Chapter 5Useful Information
Problem
You cannot dial.
Static, sound cuts in/out,
fades.
Interference from other
electrical units.
You cannot store a phone
number in memory.
While programming, the unit
starts to ring and stops the
program.
(Page) does not function.
Remedy
The dialling mode setting is incorrect.
Please check the dialling mode (p. 17).
The unit is in the call prohibition mode.
To cancel the mode, see page 37.
The number which you dialled is
restricted. To cancel the number, see
page 39.
Key lock mode is set. To cancel the
mode, see page 32.
Locate the handset and base unit away
from other electrical appliances (p. 5).
Move closer to the base unit.
Raise the base unit antenna.
You cannot store a phone number while
the unit is in the talk or intercom mode.
Do not pause for over 60 seconds while
storing.
To answer the call, press (Talk).
Start from the beginning after hanging up.
The handset is too far from the base unit.
The handset is engaged in an outside
call. Wait until the in use indicator ( )
goes out.
