Turning Your Answering System On and Off
From the base From the handset
Turning On
With the phone in standby, press
[on/off].
The system announces “Answering
System is on” and plays the current
greeting.
The message counter displays the
number of messages stored in memory.
If the counter ashes, then you have new
messages waiting.

[select/ ]. REMOTE ANSWERING
MACHINE OPERATION appears on
the display, and the answering system
announces the number of new and old
messages.
Press
[6] at any time during the
announcement.
The system announces “Answering
System is on” and plays the current

The phone announces “Answering
System is off.”
The message counter LED is no longer
illuminated.

Reviewing Messages
The base message counter displays the number of messages stored in memory. When you have new messages, the
message counter and the new message LED on the handset ash. The answering system plays your new messages
