Program System Speed Dial Names

This procedure allows a name, up to 11 characters, to be assigned to each system
speed dial number you set up. This name enables you to locate the speed dial number
when you are using the directory dial feature. Naming can be done at the same time as
you program speed dial numbers or can be done separately, after you have finished
programming speed dial numbers. The procedure for entering names is the same as
described in Program Station Names, above.
Program Keys
VOLUME UP & DOWN - Used to scroll through options.
KEYPAD - Used to enter selections.
SOFT KEYS - Move cursor left and right.
SPEAKER - Used to store data and advance to next program.
HOLD - Used to clear previous entry.
‘F’ - Used to return to system speed dial number programming.
ACTION DISPLAY
1. Open customer programming and select
706
2. Dial the system speed number (e.g., 505)
OR
Press
UP
or
DOWN
to select and press the right soft key
to move the cursor
3. Enter the speed dial name (e.g. SAMSUNG)
If you make a mistake, either press HOLD to clear the entire
entry or use the DOWN key to move the cursor back
4. Press the right soft key to return to step 2
OR
If you used the F key to enter this MMC from Program System
Speed Dial Numbers, press the F key again to return to that
program
OR
Press
TRSF
to store and exit programming
OR
Press SPEAKER to store and advance to next MMC
