Connect the Intershelf Junction Panel
The Intershelf Junction Panel converts the RJ-21 connections on the
system controller to the RJ-45 connections on the expansion shelf
controller.
Intershelf Junction Panel (JPI300)
To connect the Intershelf Junction Panel:
1. Connect a five-foot RJ-21 cable from the CSC306 or CSC320
System Controller Card to the corresponding connection on the
JPI300.
2. Connect two 12-foot RJ-45 cables from the Expansion Shelf
Controllers (CSC300) to the corresponding shelf on the JPI300. Be
sure the RJ-45 cable in Connector
A on the Shelf Controller goes to
the
A Connector on the JPI300, and that Connector B goes to the B
Connector.
