Sending a Call Waiting Tone to a Busy Extension
(Busy Station Signaling – BSS)
The busy extension that you called will hear the assigned Call Waiting tone and know that you
are waiting.

If you make an intercom call and hear a busy tone
Wait for an answer and talk.
• To answer from the calling extension, see “Call Waiting” in this manual.
• If you hear a reorder tone when you set this feature, this feature cannot be operated with the
called party. This feature is only available if the called extension has set the “Call Waiting”
feature.
