Handsfree Operation
To enable Handsfree Operation:
z
Press the speaker phone key ( ).
To switch from Handsfree to Handset operation during a call:
z Lift the handset.
To temporarily disable/enable the microphone during Handsfree
Operation:
1. Press the microphone phone key ( ) (the microphone LED is red when
the microphone is disabled).
2. Press the key that you have programmed as microphone.
To end a Handsfree call, do one of the following:
1. Press the speaker phone key ( ).
2. Press the Cancel phone key ( ).
3. Press the key that you have programmed to Cancel.
Auto-Answer
When the Auto-Answer feature is active, incomin
g
calls rin
g
briefly, and then
the phone answers the call in Handsfree mode. You can continue the call
handsfree or use the handset.
To enable or disable Auto-Answer:
z
Press Auto-Answer key. (See Programming Features on Your Keys for
instructions on programming features on your phone.) The key is
highlighted and all incoming calls are answered in Handsfree mode.
To switch from Handsfree mode to handset mode:
1. Lift the handset
2. Press the speaker phone key ( ).
To end a call:
z
Press the Cancel phone key ( ), press the Hang Up Softkey or wait
for the caller to hang up.
