Program Message key
The Message key on your 5235 IP Phone allows you to automatically place a
call to your voice mail system. You can also program this key to
automatically launch the 5235 IP Phone Message application:

1. Open the Settings shutter.
2. Press the scroll buttons ( ) until the Message Key Configuration
setting is listed.
3. Press the Message Key Configuration setting.
4. Press the check box opposite the text Launch the messages application
instead of placing a call to my voice mail system.
5. Press Save.
Program receipt of alternate message types
You can program your 5235 IP Phone to launch the Phone application when
it receives alternate messages types (other than phone calls).
To program receipt of alternate message types:
1. Open the Settings shutter.
2. Press the scroll buttons ( ) until the Alternate Messages label is
listed.
3. Press the Alternate Mess ages label.
4. Press the check box opposite the text
Launch the phone application when
an alternate message is displayed on my set.
5. Press Save.
Enable URL displays on your 5235 IP Phone
To enable third-party URLs to display in the Web Browser application:
1. Open the Settings shutter.
2. Press the scroll buttons ( ) until the Go to URL label is listed.
3. Press the Go to URL label.
4. Press the box opposite the text Enable the display of 3rd party URLS in
the Web Browser application.
5. Press Save.
