Using the People shutter
The People shutter provides a single location for you to add, delete, and edit
contact names and numbers. You can also dial anyone on your contact list
from the People shutter.
You launch the People shutter by:
1. Pressing the shutter label buttons ( ) or shutter label.
2. Pressing a programmed key/softkey in the Phone Shutter. For
information on programming keys, see Programming Features On Your
Keys.
The People shutter displays a maximum of six contacts, ordered
alphabetically by last name.
The People shutter provides the following elements:
z
Scroll Buttons ( ): Use to navigate through the contact list.
z
Alpha tabs: Use to scroll to the page that contains the contact whose last
name starts with the first letter on the tab label. For example, pressin

the
"fgh" tab, scrolls to the contact whose last name starts with "F". Multiple
clicks on a tab scrolls to the next letter on the tab. For example, clicking
twice on the "fgh" tab scrolls to contacts starting with "G".
