MT8850A / MT8852A Bluetooth Test Set Getting Started
Specifying the EUT Address
1. Move the cursor into the measurement area of the screen.
2. Press the
[EUT addr] soft key and select either manual, inquiry, RS232, or USB
(MT8852A only).
3. Press the hard key to run the test script once or:
Press the
hard key to run the test script according to the configuration
settings of the MT8850A/MT8852A.
Press the
[Abort] soft key to terminate the script immediately. Press the
hard key again to stop continuous script running.
4. Press the
[Results] soft key to view the results obtained from the tests.
Selecting the Test Mode
There are three test modes available; standard, single payload, and null packet, each of
which is explained in detail later in this chapter. In all cases, the user can select between
each of the modes on a script by script basis as detailed below.
1. Move the cursor to the script number and press the
[Setup] soft key.
2. Check that the cursor is at the “Script mode” item and if so, press the
key to
toggle between the three test mode settings. For standard mode and null packet
mode, no further settings are required on this screen, however if single payload
mode is selected, an additional line is displayed on the same screen to allow the
operator to define the packet type and payload. (Refer to the explanation and table
of required settings later in this chapter.)
Running a Single Test
The single test functionality can be used in any of the scripts to allow the user to run only
the test that has been selected rather than all of the tests that are available in that script.
1. Press the
hard key.
The Script menu is displayed.
2. Move the cursor to the Script number and:
