If the bank number appears at the top of
the display, the bank is on. If not, it is off.
Notes:
. Use the zero key to select bank 10.
. To select banks 11 - 20, press 0
followed by the appropriate number key.
(Example: 0 G) The numbers 11 -

20 appear next to the corresponding
number keys.
. You can turn on a bank wheth9r or not
you have stored frequencies in any of its
channels. The scanner still only scans
programmed channels.
. One bank must always be on. If you try
to turn off all 20 banks, Bank 1 will
automatically activate.
Locking Out Channels
The lock-out feature lets you further
customise the channels that you want to
scan at a particular time.
For example, if a stored frequency
broadcasts almost all the time, the scanner
will stop on it and stay. You can lock out that
channel when you are more interested in
the other channels for the current scanning
session.
When you lock out a channel, it is
temporarily excluded from scanning, but it
remains programmed so that you can easily
unlock it for scanning later.
You can select a locked out channel using
the Manual Mode. See "The Manual Mode"
on Page 32.
