use the same code number to access more than
one automated phone system. You can simply
record the code number in a phone book location
and link that location to each phone number
which will require it.
Inserting a pause or link into a number.
1. Enter the first part of the number.
2. Press the dial where you want to insert a pause or link. The
Options menu will be displayed.
3. Turn the dial to select either “Hard Pause,” “Time Pause” or
“Enter Link” then press the dial. The spot where a hard pause
has been inserted into a phone number will be marked by [H].
A timed pause will be indicated by [T] and a link will be
indicated by [L].
4. After a hard or timed pause, enter the additional numbers
(such as a credit card number) and save the entry as you would
any other entry.
5. After inserting a link, enter the number of the memory location
that you want to attach.

Sending touch-tone signals from
the phone book.
You can also use your phone to send touch-tone signals (also called
DTMF signals) to access electronic services. Simply put, this means
you can store a series of numbers (such as a personal identification
number) to have at your fingertips whenever you need it.
1. First, store the series of numbers as a phone book entry.
2. When you’re on a call and need to send the numbers, just find
the phone book entry.
3. Press the dial to display the Options menu.
4. Turn the dial to select “Send Tones,” then press the dial.
The numbers will automatically be transmitted in a burst.
Keep in mind that this option can only be used during a call. To enter
and send numbers one by one during a call, use the number buttons.
