your phone is locked. To save your three emergency numbers, follow
these steps:
1. First, access your phone’s Features menu by pressing the dial.
2. Turn the dial until the flashing arrow points to “Security.”
3. Press the dial to select the Security menu.
4. Enter your four-digit lock code. (The code is typically the last
four digits of your Sprint PCS Phone Number.)
5. Turn the dial to select “Emergency #,” then press the dial.
6. Turn the dial to select the first emergency memory location, then
press the dial. The phone prompts, “Enter phone number for
emergency entry #1.”
7. Enter your first emergency number, then press the dial to store it.
Repeat these steps until all three emergency locations have been
filled.
8. When you finish, press or press and hold to
return to the standby display.
Dialing 911 or other emergency numbers.
You can place emergency calls to 911, your stored emergency
numbers or Sprint PCS Customer Care even if your phone is locked.

exactly as stored — with or without the area code.
2. Extend the mouthpiece or, if it is already extended, press .
Note: You cannot dial your three emergency numbers when your
Sprint PCS Account has been restricted for credit purposes, but you
can still call 911.
Dialing Sprint PCS Directory Assistance.
Press to obtain residential,
business and governmental listings; to get help completing local or
long-distance calls; or to obtain movie listings, hotel, restaurant and
shopping information, and major local event information. You can
obtain more than one number at a time from directory assistance.
When you’ve finished a call that directory assistance completed for
you, just press to return to directory assistance for
additional help.
Dialing Sprint PCS Operator Services.
Press for assistance with placing collect calls or calls billed
to a phone calling card or to a third party.
