Unfortunately, you’ll lose whatever you were just doing if this happens.
So, watch the battery icon to make sure the level is sufficient.
To charge your batteries, use only an approved AC adapter, desktop
charger, cigarette lighter adapter, travel adapter or hands-free car kit.

Using the AC adapter.
Be careful to use only the AC adapter you received with your Sprint
PCS Phone or another approved charger. Using the wrong one could
damage your phone and invalidate your warranty.
Thanks to your phone’s special design, you can recharge the battery
using only the AC adapter. Simply attach one end of the AC adapter to
the connector at the bottom of your phone and plug the other end
into a standard wall outlet. If your battery’s charge is completely run
down, it’ll take approximately three hours to fully recharge. It isn’t
necessary to let the battery completely run down before recharging it.

Charging with the phone turned on.
The battery icon ( ) will flash to let you know that the
battery is charging. When the icon stops flashing, the battery is fully
charged.
Charging when the phone is off.
When your phone is turned off, the display screen will display the
message “Battery is Charging, Power is Off” and the battery icon
( ) will flash. When the battery is fully charged, the display
screen will tell you “Charging is Complete, Power is Off” and the
will stop flashing. The battery will charge more quickly
when the phone is off.
