Turning on your phone.
Of course, before you can use your Sprint PCS Phone you’ll need to
turn it on. Start by checking to see that the charged battery pack is
installed. Then, simply press for approximately one second
until the green light comes on and the phone beeps. Now you’re
ready to make a call.
Turning off the phone is just as simple. Just press for about
one second until “Powering Off” is displayed.

Placing a call.
Whenever you make a call, follow these simple steps:
1. Check to see that your phone is turned on and that you are in
a Sprint PCS Service Area. If you see the display icons on the
screen, that means the power is on. Unless you see the
icon, you are in a Sprint PCS Service Area or another provider’s
service area.
2. Fully extend the antenna for the best call quality.
3. Enter the phone number.
4. If the mouthpiece is closed, simply extend it and your phone will
automatically place the call.
5. If the mouthpiece was extended when you entered the number,
just press or press the dial twice to place the call.
6. When you’re finished with your call, just press or close
the mouthpiece.
