Note: When perform a factory reset, all current settings including contact list, call
history, account settings, etc will be lost.
The phone will have to be congured manually or reprovisioned.
Firmware Update and Autoprovisioning
The phone is delivered with pre-installed rmware. If users require updating the
phone’s rmware, please contact the system administrator. Updating the rmware
can only be done via the web interface.
To update the rmware manually via the web interface:
Choose SYSTEM [ UPGRADE; select the rmware le in the local computer.
Click the upgrade button to update the new rmware.
Please do not power o during the updating.
To update the rmware and conguration automatically, auto provisioning can
also be used.
Note: Please check with the network administrator or the service provider for auto-
provisioning.
To launch Autoprovisioning using web interface:
Go to SYSTEM[PROVISIONING Settings
Set Auto Provision via phone interface:
1) Press the Menu soft key [3. SETTINGS [2.ADVANCED
2) Users will be prompted to enter the password
3) Scroll to 7. Auto Provision and press the OK button.
Enter the URL, User Name and Password (if needed).
Press the OK button or the Save soft key to save the changes and reboot the phone.
Note: 1. Any power interruption during the subsequent process will most likely
lead to a ash memory error. As a result the system may no longer be able to start
properly. This procedure can be only conducted in Administrator Mode.
2. The upgrade priority is DHCP options then precongured URL .
Decryption
The IP120 supports conguration le encryption for provisioning. In case encryp-
tion is used, the AES key needs to be congured on the phone.
To set the AES key via the web interface:
Go to SYSTEM [ PROVISIONING SETTINGS
