Lightning surge
This unit has already been equipped with a built-in lightning protection circuit. However, we
recommend that you install the following options, if your area has frequent lightning strikes.
1) Lightning protection on the telephone line
2) Lightning protection on the power source
To install the above options, please contact your local sales shop.
•Lightning damage is not covered in the warranty even if lightning protection is installed.

TO PREVENT FIRE OR SHOCK HAZARD, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS
PRODUCT TO RAIN OR ANY TYPE OF MOISTURE.
If there is any trouble, disconnect the unit from the telephone line and connect a known working
phone. If the known working phone operates properly, do not reconnect the unit to the telephone
line until the problem has been repaired. If the known working phone does not operate properly,
consult your telephone company.
