1 Press then .

3 Enter the base unit password (p. 29).

•The current setting is displayed.
0: OFF (factory preset) 1: ON
5 Press to select ON.
6 Enter the carrier code, up to 7 digits.
7 Press .
•A confirmation tone sounds.
•To continue storing the area code(s), enter
the command .
•To return to the stand-by mode, press
or wait for 60 seconds.
