To access your mailbox with speech commands
With speech recognition, you can access your mailbox by
saying menu options and commands.
Speech recognition is available when you listen to voice,
fax, or e-mail messages. For a menu option, say each level
of the menu. For example, say “Setup options, greetings,
switch greetings.”
If desired, at any time you can press a touchtone key for a
menu option. Or, to exit or return to using speech com-
mands, press at the main menu.
If the system includes e-mail integration, if asked, you can
say your e-mail password. See “To enter your e-mail pass-
word with speech” on page 135.
Soft Keys
When you access the system from an internal phone with
Soft Keys enabled, speech recognition is not enabled.
USING YOUR PHONE
1 Call the voice messaging system.
2 Press touchtone keys to enter your personal ID.
3 Press or say your security code. To protect your mailbox from
unauthorized access, say your security code only in a secure
location.
