Using speech recognition
If your system includes speech recog-
nition, you can listen to voice, fax, or
e-mail messages by speaking menu
options or commands instead of press-
ing touchtone keys. The system leads
you step by step through the speech
recognition conversation.
With speech recognition, you can
respond to system prompts with a few
words. Just answer in your normal
speaking voice. For example, say
"Check new messages" or "setup
options."
To use speech recognition, the system
manager must turn on the feature for
you. The next time you call the system,
just start speaking at any time. You can
speak commands, or press a touch-
tone key at any time.
