Resetting the Voice Message Waiting Indicator (Base Only)
When you receive a new voice mail message, the LED on the top of the handset ashes. In the event your message
alert tone gets out of sync with your phone company’s voice messaging system, you can reset back to its original
“no messages waiting” state. To reset, follow the steps below:
Press the
MENU soft key. Select the GLOBAL SETUP menu, and then the VMWI RESET submenu.
Move the cursor to select YES.
Press the
OK soft key. You will hear a conrmation tone.
