Features Conference Calls
Conference Calls
This feature enables you to add other parties to an existing call. (If you have an LCD telephone, you
can use Soft Keys to make a conference call.) The following conferencing configurations are
possible:

up to two stations and two Exchange lines
♦
up to three stations and one Exchange line
♦
up to four stations

To make a conference call

If you receive a busy tone or no answer, press
Cnf/Trn
to return to the original connection.

The new station is not conferenced unless its user lifts the handset or presses a [DN] to answer.
1. While on a call, press
Cnf/
Trn.
You hear dial tone and the [DN] or Line LED flashes green
(conference-rate).
2. Dial a [DN] or access an
Exchange line and dial the
telephone number.
3. When the called party
answers, press
Cnf/Trn
.
All parties are conferenced. If the second call was placed on
a [DN] or Exchange line that appears on your telephone, the
LED also flashes green at the in-use rate.
4. Repeat the procedure to
add other Exchange lines
or [DNs], remembering not
to try and exceed the
allowed number.
