To make a call using a Speed Dial button or access code
Speed DialAdvanced Features
Feature Access Codes
You can program 6'(Speed Dial) buttons with feature access codes for a single
feature or a sequence of features as long as the keyed dial pad characters do not
exceed 20 digits. To determine how many digits you have, count 2 digits for
&QI7UQ,
[PDN] and
+ROG feature buttons and 1 digit for all other dial pad characters.
See Table 7 for a list of feature access codes.Your System Administrator can tell you
which features can be programmed on your telephone.
To store a feature onto a 6' button
5HGLDO+ 6' + Feature Access Code + 5HGLDO.
See Table 7 for Feature Access code sequences.
6' = the speed dial button the feature is stored on.
1. Lift the handset.
2. Access a CO line (if
necessary).
If your
6' button has
been programmed to
automatically do this,
skip this step.
3. Press
6'
...or 6SHHG'LDO.
Then enter a Speed
Dial access code (see
Table 16 on Page
136).
The system dials the telephone number assigned to the
button/code. If your
6' button is one-touch, as
explained above, skip Step 1.
