Answering Calls
When a call is received, the unit rings, “Incoming call” is displayed, and the
Ringer/Message Alert indicator on the handset and “ ” on the base unit
flash rapidly.

Auto Talk
If the Auto Ta lk feature is turned on (p. 16 ), you can an swer a call by simply lifting
the handset off the base unit.
Temporary ringer of f
You can turn the ringer off temporarily by pressing [OFF], while the handset is
ringing for an outside call. The handset will ring again as normal the next time a call
is received.
• If the ringer volume is turned off, the unit will not ring (p. 17).
