Before Requesting Help
Problem
Previously programmed
information is erased.
“Recharge” is displayed on
the handset, “” flashes
or the unit beeps
intermittently.
You charged the battery
fully, but “Recharge” is still
displayed and/or “”
continues to flash.
The IN USE/CHARGE
indicator light does not go
out after the battery has
been charged.
Remedy
•If a power failure occurs, programmed
information may be erased. Reprogram
if necessary.
•Charge the battery fully (p. 14).
•Clean the charge contacts and charge
again (p. 15).
•Install a new battery (p. 74).
•This is normal.
