Use Touch Panel Setup
The Touch Panel Setup tool calibrates the touch panel and stylus.
Calibration is required when stylus taps are not interpreted correctly.
To use Touch Panel Setup tool
1. Tap the Tools icon.
2. Tap the Touch Panel Setup soft key.
The screen displays a calibration map,
the CANCEL soft key is displayed, and
the system prompts
Touch the center of the red
ball.
3. Using the stylus, tap each of the dots, in
order, starting with the red dot in the
lower-left portion of the screen, and
following the sequence as prompted.
4. After the third dot is tapped, the display
changes to indicate the result of the
calibration.
If the calibration is successful, the
telephone reports
Data calibration is CORRECT,
prompts Save Data Calibration?,
and displays the YES and NO soft keys,
and calibration statistics.
