Phone Book/Dial by Name
You can use this feature to easily find and dial numbers that are stored in the
system and on your phone: Dial by Intercom (ICM) name, Station (STA) name,
or by System (SYS) name.
Note: Also see “Programming Station Speed Dial Numbers/Bins” on
page 2-57.
Using the Phonebook for Dialing
1. Use on the Nav Button to
access the Phonebook.
2. Use on the Nav
button to scroll through the
"Dial by..." lists.
3. Press the OK soft button to
select the list you want to
use.
4. Use on the Nav
button to scroll through the names in the selected list.
When you find the number you want to dial:
5. Be sure that the appropriate
number is selected.
6. Press the SEND soft button
to dial the selected name
(number).
- If you are dialing an
intercom number (another
station in your system)
using the ICM (Intercom)
dial lists, the dialed number
will appear on the display.
- If you are dialing an outside
call using the Station or
System Speed dial lists,
the dialed number will
appear on the display.
