Chapter 4: Using a Single Line Telephone (SLT)

# = FORWARD TO VOICE MAIL
This setting allows you to have your calls forwarded directly to your own voice
mailbox.
After you have selected any call forward types 1or 2 as described above:
5. Press # to forward your calls to your voice mail when your phone is
unanswered or busy.
OR
Cancelling Call Forward
1. Lift handset or press Speaker.
2. Enter 554 then #.
OR
Enter 559.
Parking
You can place a call in a “parking slots” available on the SBX system for
retrieval from another phone.
Example: A call may come in for someone in your group. However, that
person is somewhere else in the building. You can park the call,
then page the person with the parking location/slot number. That
person can then retrieve the call from any phone in the system by
dialing the park location you provided.
Note: Contact your System Administrator for details about the available
parking slots, and/or if you are unsure if this feature is available on
your phone.
To Park a Call
While on an active call:
1. Lift the handset.
2. Press the hook-switch.
3. Dial a parking location (601 through 610).
4. Hang up.
Hint: Remember the location at which the call is parked as you need it
to retrieve the call.
To Retrieve a Parked Call
1. Lift the handset.
2. Enter the parking location/slot.
