Memos
A personal memo can be recorded on
your Quartet 3500 and left as a memo
message for another user. Memos can be
of any length, up to the maximum
recording capacity (12 minutes), but you
should try to keep them short to allow
time for recording incoming messages.
Note
You cannot record a memo using the
base unit.
To record a new memo
message
Pick up the handset.
Press the UP or DOWN button
until the display shows
Record
Memo
.
Press the OK option button.
The prompt will announce,
“Please speak after the tone. To
end recording, press #”.
After you hear the beep, speak
your memo into the handset.
The display will show
To End
Recording Press #
.
Press the
#
button to end
recording.
The display will return to the
standby screen.
Your memo is now stored and
can be played back later.
Memos are stored in the same
way as incoming messages so
the message counter on the
handset and base will increase
by one. The memo can be
played back in the same way
as incoming messages.
