Methods of Programming
You can program features in two ways. You can press
Menu,
select
Ext program [Prog],
select the feature from the
display, and follow the prompts on the display. You can also
dial a programming code on your dialpad.
The programming method you use is up to you. If you are
unfamiliar with your phone, selecting the feature from your
display is particularly helpful, especially if you have a phone
with a large display. The display prompts you through each
programming step and confirms that you have programmed
the feature successfully.
Once you are familiar with your phone, you may want to use
programming codes to program quickly. Instructions for
using the display to program features and using programming
codes follow.
NOTE:
If you are unable to program your phone, someone may
be programming the system. See your system manager if
you have problems.
