Basic operation
Edit a directory entry
1. Press . The screen displays DIRECTORY.
2. Press or to scroll alphabetically through the entries.
-OR-
Press the dial pad key for the rst letter of the entry to be edited.
3. When the screen displays the desired entry, press SEL. Then press until EDIT ashes.
4. Press SEL. The screen displays the name and number. The cursor appears at the end of the
name. Use , and the dial pad keys to edit the name. Press SEL to move on to edit the number.
Use to backspace and make corrections. Press SEL to move on to edit the distinct ring tone.

Delete a directory entry
1. Press until the screen displays DIRECTORY.
2. Press or to scroll alphabetically through entries.

Press the dial pad key for the rst letter of the entry to be deleted.
3. When the screen displays the desired entry, press SEL. Then press until ERASE ashes.

• When memory is
full, the screen
displays MEMORY
FULL; an error
tone sounds, and
no new entry can
be stored until an
