Adjusting the Handset Ringer and Earpiece Volume
Handset ringer tone and volume
Press the volume up key or volume down key (labeled as,
vol/ring/ or vol/ring/ keys) in standby mode to select
one of five ringer tones and volume combinations.
Earpiece volume
Pressing the volume up key or volume down key (labeled as,
vol/ring/ or vol/ring/ keys) during a call will change the
earpiece volume of the handset. This setting will remain in
effect after the telephone call has ended.
Temporarily Mute Ringer
If the handset is off the base, simply press the end key to temporarily mute the
incoming ring. The ringer will sound with the next incoming call.
When you press the volume up key (vol/ring/ ) in Maximum
mode or volume down key (vol/ring/ ) in Low mode, an error
tone sounds.
