Uniden EXI2926 Cordless Telephone User Manual

GETTING STARTED[ 12 ]
If you enter a 3-digit area code number in the "Area Code" option, your local area code does not appear in
the Caller ID messages. Do not program this option, if your calling area requires 10-digit dialing. When
reviewing Caller ID messages, you will see only the local seven digit number. For calls received from outside
your local area code, you will see a full 10-digit number.
Entering Your Area Code
When the area code has already been stored in memory, the stored area code will be displayed.
To change it, use the delete/flash and number keypad to enter the new area code. Then press
sel/vol. To complete the setting, press call id/hold or return the handset to the base unit.
