Creating Your Own Database
This chapter describes using the Tel
(Telephone) and User File applications.
These two applications are actually
identical in the way that they function,
except that they have different default
file and field names designed to handle
different types of information. The
flexibility of these applications allows
you to manage a wide range of information,
from simple address book to an extensive
restaurant guide or even a listing of
your important business contacts.
The Tel Application
The Tel application stores the names, telephone
numbers, and addresses of business clients,
companies, personal friends and so on.
Updating the Category list
You may wish to edit the names of existing
categories.
1. From the TEL application’s Index view, press
[MENU].
2. Select CATEGORIES.
The CATEGORY window appears.
3. Make the desired change to the category
list.
4. Press [ENTER] to store the edited entry.
The TEL Index view appears.
