Microsoft Lync 2010
Pressing the Speakerphone key
has no effect. The sound still
comes out of the handset
earpiece.
The Audio settings in your
Microsoft Lync 2010 client are
not correct.
Adjust the audio settings in Microsoft Lync
2010 to ensure that speaker audio is
directed to your computer’s speakers. For
more information, refer to Configuring
Microsoft Lync 2010 for the Polycom
CX300 Desktop Phone on page 1-7.
The display shows an audio
graphic when you are not using
the phone as an audio device.
An open web page or an
application that is running in the
background may be streaming
media to the phone or have the
streaming interface selected.
Do one of the following steps:
Ignore the audio graphic.
Close the web page or shut down the
application.
Symptom Problem Corrective Action
The Microsoft Lync 2010 client is
not working properly.
There may be problems with the
Microsoft Lync 2010 client
software or with Microsoft Lync
2010.
Contact your system administrator to
ensure your account is configured
properly and that your Microsoft Lync
2010 client software and the Microsoft
Lync 2010 software are properly installed
and configured.
