1 During an outside call, press 4 to put the
call on hold.
L k flashes to indicate the outside call is on
hold.
2 To page the base unit, press {0}.
3 Wait for the paged party to answer.
L If the paged party does not answer, press
4 to return to the outside call.
4 Proceed with the desired operation.
■ To transfer the call:
Press {ih}.
L The outside call is routed to the
destination unit.
■ To establish a conference call:
Press {3}.
L To leave the conference, press {ih}.
The other parties can continue the
conversation.
Transferring a call without speaking to the
handset or base unit user
1 During an outside call, press {x}.
L k flashes to indicate the outside call is on
hold.
2 Place the corded handset on the cradle.
L The outside call rings at the other unit.

L The outside call rings at the other unit.
Note for base unit and handset:
L If the other user does not answer the call within
1 minute, the call rings at your unit again.
Answering a transferred call
Lift the corded handset or press {s} to answer the
page.
Press {C} to answer the page.
Note for base unit and handset:
L After the paging party disconnects, you can talk
to the outside caller.
