Mitel Networks 5423 IrDA Module
The Mitel Networks 5423 IrDA (Infrared Display Adapter) Module is an optional module that attaches
to a 5020 IP Phone. Software must also be installed on the Palm Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)
operating system. A wireless connection between the telephone and the Palm PDA is established
through the infrared ports.
This optional module gives the user the ability to dial telephone numbers directly from the Palm PDA.
If users find themselves away from their desks, they can point their Palm PDA at any telephone with
the attached module, and access features and telephone numbers programmed at their own
extension number.
