Sending Messages
To send a message:
1. Access your mailbox as described on page 18.
2. Tap .
3. Enter the desired mailbox number or group list number.
4. Tap to accept the subscriber’s name.
5. Record your message after the tone. While recording, you have the following
options:
• Tap to pause while recording. Then tap any key to continue.
• Tap to erase and re-record your message.
6. When finished recording, hang up or tap to access the following options:
• Tap to send the message and return to the voice mail options.
• Tap to replay your message.
• Tap to add to your message.
• Tap to erase and re-record your message.
• Tap to use the special delivery options. You can then use one or more of
the following options:
— Tap to mark the message “private.” (This prevents the recipient from
forwarding it to other subscribers.)
—Tap to mark the message “certified.” (When the recipient listens to
the message, you will receive a receipt notice.)
—Tap to mark the message “priority.” (This will place your message
ahead of all other waiting messages in the receiving mailbox.)
— Tap to cancel delivery options.
—Tap to deliver the message. (If you want to mark the message certi-
fied, private, and/or priority, you must do so before completing this
step.) You may choose either of the following options:
• Tap and enter another mailbox number to send the message to
another destination.
• Tap to exit and return to voice mail options.
7. Tap END to hang up.
