Caller ID
Store a call log entry in the directory
1. Locate the desired entry in the call log to be stored in the directory.
2. If you wish to change how the number is stored, press #. The screen displays all dialing
sequences available for this entry (area code + number; 1 + area code + number; number only;
1 + number).
3. Press SEL and then press or until PROGRAM ashes.
4. Press SEL. The screen displays the number and name. The cursor appears at the end of the
name. Use to backspace, to add a space and the dial pad keys to edit the name. Press SEL
to edit the number. Use to backspace and make corrections. Press SEL to conrm.
5. Follow steps 7-10 in Store a directory entry (page 20).

Display: When:
PRIVATE NAME
The caller is blocking name information.
PRIVATE NUMBER
The caller is blocking telephone number information.
PRIVATE CALLER
The caller is blocking name and number information.
UNKNOWN NAME
This caller’s name is unavailable.
UNKNOWN NUMBER
This caller’s number is unavailable.
UNKNOWN CALLER
No call information is available about this caller.
LONG DISTANCE
This is a long distance call.
