Radio Interference
Radiointerference mayoccasionally cause buzzing and humming in
your cordless Handset, or clicking noises in the Base Unit.This
interference is caused by external sources such as a TV,
refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, fluorescent lighting, or electrical
storm. Your unit is NOTDEFECTIVE.Ifthese noises continue and
are too distracting, please check around your home to see what
appliances may cause the problem. In addition, we recommend that
the base not be plugged into a circuit that also powers a major
appliance because of the potential for interference. Be certain that
the antenna ofthe base and Handset are fullyextended.
In the unlikely eventthat you consistently hear other voices or
distracting transmissions on your cordless telephone, you maybe
receiving radio signals from another cordless telephone or other
source ofinterference. Ifyou cannot eliminate this typeof
interference,youneedto changethechannel.Press-
on the Handset to select the best channel for the clearest
performance.
More than One Cordless Telephone
Ifyouwishtousemorethanonecordlesstelephonein yourhouse,
theymustbe operatedondifferentchannels.Duringa conversation,
pressthe
-buttonto selectonethatprovidesthe
clearest performance.
