5. Plugthe ACAdaptor back into the Base Unitto restore the power.
6. Place each Handset onto the BaseUnit for at least 5 seconds.
The new DigitalSecurity Codehas now been transferred to all
Handsets.
Placing a Call
To place a call with your XC631Plus;
1. RemovetheHandsetfromtheChargingBaseandPress-
2. Dial the number you are calling.
3. Whenyouhavefinishedthecall,press-orreturnthe
Handset onto the ChargingBase.
NOTE: If you don't place the Handset back on the ChargingBase,'
! youwillneedto press-tohangup thephone.

Selecting a Channel
The-buttonon theHandsetallowsyoutochooseamong
10 factoryset channels. If you are receiving any interference on a
channel, press the button to switch to another channel. Ifthe noise
persists, or if a double beep is heard, move closer to the Base Unit
beforepressing _.
NOTE: If the noise or interference continues, refer to the
! section entitled "Trouble-shooting" in this manual.
This function works only when the phone is in use.
NOTE:

Changingchannels when the operating environment is
extremely noisymay result in failure in communication
between the Handset and Base Unit.Asa result the
Handset mayfailto respond to keys pressed. To restore
Handset operation, re-cradle it on the base f2r about
6seconds.
